Rehearsals always throw up all sorts of interesting creative ideas, and from June 2024, we started writing our own material. In our hearts we always knew we really wanted to be an originals band and from August we started concentrating on writing, recording and producing our own songs. Love’s Suicidal Dream and Angel were our first fully written songs…but we have 18 now really close to being performance ready, and we’ll talk a bit more about those soon.
As a young band, it’s been a struggle to buy all the professional gear we need to produce the results we wanted, but it has also been really interesting learning the recording process, using Steinberg’s Cubase Pro, and our trusty Shure SM58s.
